Taiwan-OSHA has established the Online OSH Digital Learning Platform

Under the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Taiwan and the maturity of emerging digital technologies, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor (Taiwan-OSHA) has launched the Online Occupational Safety and Health Digital Learning Platform in 2021, which provides courses not only in Mandarin and Taiwanese, but also the ones translated into Indonesian, English, Thai, and Vietnamese, enabling domestic and foreign workers to learn anytime and anywhere with no restriction.

Moreover, the hours of certification obtained by workers through online learning on the digital learning platform can be used to offset the legally required hours of safety and health education and training. As of the end of March 2023, the digital learning platform provides 29 safety and health-related courses for various industries such as construction industry, manufacturing industry, catering service industry, etc., and a total of 173,303 people have signed up for digital courses to experience the convenience of digital learning, and 146,742 people have completed full training and passed the test, and its homepage has accumulated a total of 3.8 million visitors.
