  • Last Modify Date:2017-11-07

Those Workplaces which engage in the manufacturing, storage, or usage of high pressure gases are more complex and have more risks because most of high pressure gases are flammable, poisonous or hazardous. Therefore, conducting process safety assessment regularly to ensure mechanical integrity of related equipment and pipelines is the best method for employers to prevent the risks of injuries posed by high-pressure gas. In order to help business owners and managers enhance the ability of implementing process safety management, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Taiwan High Pressure Gas Industrial Association (THPGIA) co-hosted “2017 High Pressure Gases Process Safety-Mechanical Integrity (MI) Seminar” in National Taipei University of Technology on 21 September 2017, inviting experts from famous international companies to share their experience and insights in High Pressure Gases Process Safety. They discussed a multitude of topics regarding the technique and practical applications of mechanical integrity of high pressure gases process, including quantitative risk analysis method applications, management of changing process, and practice of inspection methods.
